The Multimedia Center of the Lodz University of Technology has prepared a new video material “Endoscope with extended action” for the “Time for science” series on the PIONIER platform.

In the video, scientists of the Lodz University of Technology are presenting an extended-range endoscope developed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology, which will help in quick and effective treatment of the digestive system. The device will allow doctors to shorten the waiting time for diagnosis. Thanks to the length and “snake-like” movements, the endoscope will not be invasive to the intestinal environment and will allow them to examine it fully.

Scientists led by Dr Eng. Łukasz Frącczak, Institute of Machine Tools and Machine Building Technology in cooperation with Łódź are developing this joint project..
