The National Center for Research and Development granted over PLN 2.2 million in funding for a smart system project that will help save electricity and ensure the comfort of the working environment. Scientists from the Institute of Computer Science at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (FTIMS) of the Lodz University of Technology (TUL) are working on this innovative project.
The aim of the project is to develop a new intelligent controller with a modular sensor and an intelligent controller, forming the METERNET-EnMS energy management system.
The use of artificial intelligence algorithms and machine learning techniques that facilitate modeling of environmental processes will play a significant role in the design.
The new system will guarantee automatic control of energy efficiency. Smart monitoring of the most important air parameters will ensure the highest standards of the working environment and rationalizing of the electricity consumption.
