Scientists of the Opole University of Technology to improve the operation of the tomograph for the detection of hazardous substances

Scientists of the Opole University of Technology will improve the operation of a modern tomograph for the detection of hazardous substances. They will run on equipment from Nuctech, a world leader in the production of security control equipment.

“We have signed a cooperation agreement with Nuctech, a world leader in the production of the most modern devices related to security control. We are very happy that the company proposed to work on the use of the tomograph in order to improve its operation to our university”, says the rector of the Opole University of Technology, Prof. Marcin Lorenc.

Nuctech manufactures X-ray scanners, industrial tomographs for airports, liquid detectors, linear accelerators and X-ray detectors. Tomographs produced by the company working at airports are able to scan up to 1000 suitcases in an hour in search of dangerous liquids and substances.
