Scientists of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań receive Miniatura funding

Five projects of scientists of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań will be implemented thanks to funding under the Miniatura competition organized by the National Science Center.

Young scientists will investigate the effect of electromagnetic fields used in wireless communication on the growth and development of herbaceous plants, and conduct studies to check whether the congenital heart defects of bulldog dogs are of genetic origin.

The funding will allow to realize: an assessment of the level of accumulation of rare earth elements in relation to the urban landscape, research internship at the renowned Max Planck Institute of Biogeochemistry in Jena (Germany) and a trip to Canada, to the laboratory of Prof. Janusz Pawliszyn, a world authority in the field of analytical chemistry, at the University of Waterloo -.
