Scientists of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań to carry out foreign research projects

Scientists of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań will carry out research projects in international teams. Research is focused on searching for smart and effective production and organizational solutions for the natural environment.

In the Department of Animal Nutrition, the implementation of the project “Climate Care Cattle Farming Systems (CCCfarming)” has started. Its aim is to develop modern livestock farming systems that will reduce greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions while maintaining socio-economic farms. The research is coordinated by Wageningen Research in the Netherlands.

Researchers of the Department of Zoology at the University of Poznań obtained European funding for the project “Services provided by the main types of ecosystems in Poland – applied approach”. The project aims to develop solutions to assess the size of ecosystem resources in Poland.
