Scientists of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław receive awards of the Polish Academy of Sciences

Scientists of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław: Prof. Krzysztof Sośnica, Prof. Stanisław Dzimira and Prof. Wojciech Niżański became the laureates of the Polish Academy of Sciences Awards.

Prof. Krzysztof Sośnica, head of the scientific discipline, civil engineering and transport and the Department of Satellite Geodesy was recognized by IV Department of the Polish Academy of Sciences for his 16 works on processing laser and microwave observations for navigation and geodetic satellites.

Prof. Stanisław Dzimira, dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine and Prof. Wojciech Niżański, chairman of the Veterinary Discipline Council and head of the Lead Research Team Innovative veterinary diagnostics and therapy were appreciated for their work “Species diversity of the genetic basis of disorders of the sex of pets and a new approach to their diagnosis”.
