On December 17, the departments of management and transport as well as humanities and social studies of the University of Technology and Humanities in Bielsko-Biała are inviting to a nationwide online media conference “Virtualization of social life in times of a pandemic”.

The pandemic resulted in the closure or limitation of the operation of systems and subsystems of economic, social, political and cultural life. The topics of the conference will include the issues of higher education and education, activities of the cultural sectors, concerning health protection and the state of public policy, economic activity and entrepreneurship, as well as the practice of everyday life and activities related to religious worship.

The conference partners are the Department of Sociology of Economy and Social Communication of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, the Department of Sociology and Military History of the Naval Academy in Gdynia, and the Department of Journalism and Social Communication of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
