Four researchers of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences have received scholarships from the National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Mieczysław Bekker program.
Dr Paweł Hordyniec will go to the Scripps Oceanographic Institute of the University of California, San Diego. He will develop satellite observations using an innovative radio occultation technique, using measurements from research aircraft with GPS transmitters on board.
Dr Ewa Kozłowska will spend 1.5 years at the Australian University of Queensland. She will study an innovative method of immobilizing and activating enzymes capable of transforming steroid compounds.
Dr.Małgorzata Jarząbek-Rychard will work at the Technical University of Dresden. She will be involved in developing methods of automatic reconstruction of building interiors.
Prof. Krzysztof Marycz will visit UC DAVIS – the best veterinary university in the world, where he will work on an innovative therapy for the treatment of osteoarthritis in horses.
