Five researchers of the University of Silesia will  be able to implement their projects thanks to the Opus competition of the National Science Center. The total value of their research funding is over 4.1 million PLN.

The co-financed projects include: “Water fictions: refugees and the sea”; “Socio-legal justice for women. Analysis of female vertebrae” and “Correlation between limited size and surface interactions and their impact on the molecular dynamics of two-dimensional space limited materials. Does the size of the spatial limitation apply?”

Funding was also awarded to the following projects: “TreesBEEs – Trees as a biogeomorphological factor of ecosystem transformation – biological weathering, initial soil development and slope formation under the influence of tree roots, rhizospheric bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi” and “How many glaciations? Neoproterozoic countdown to the biological “big bang”.
