Researchers at the Human Structural and Functional Research Center and the Institute of Biology of the University of Szczecin will implement the “Mobile sterilization station” project. The goal is to create a prototype of a cheap and mobile sterilization station that will contribute to combating the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic and preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The mobile sterilization station is intended mainly for the border guards, fire brigades and police – as well as entrepreneurs from the tourist sector. Thanks to the device, it will be possible to reduce the costs of servicing the residents of the region in terms of microbiological purity in public space.

An important advantage of the mobile sterilization station is ensuring microbiological purity in the areas most vulnerable to pathogen transmission, by the possibility of frequent sterilization of reusable materials, which will directly translate into increased public safety.
