The article “High-temperature quantum anomalous Hall regime in a MnBi2Te4 / Bi2Te3 superlattice” co-authored by four scientists from the University of Warsaw (UW) was published in “Nature Physics”.

The international team of scientists with the participation of specialists from the University of Warsaw have focused on the quantum anomalous Hall’s phenomenon, its physical origin, connections with topological insulators or the potential to change future quantum electronics.

The co-authors of the article are Dr Agnieszka Wołoś (Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw), Kamil Sobczak (Center of Biological and Chemical Sciences, University of Warsaw), Joanna Sitnicka (Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw) and Dr Jolanta Borysiuk (Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw, died in May 2019). The work was created as a result of the National Science Center project entitled “Magnetic topological insulators”, led by Agnieszka Wołoś.
