Four scientists of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology have become laureates of the MINIATURA Competition of the National Science Center. The grant will be allocated to preliminary and pilot studies, queries, research internships, scientific consultations, research and conference trips.
The grant will allow to complete preliminary research by Dr Konrad Matyja (Faculty of Chemistry), “Biosynthesis of metal nanoparticles from industrial wastewater, Dr Eng. Sławomir Czarnecki (Faculty of Civil Engineering) “Assessment of the influence of the type of formwork on the morphology of the surface of architectural concrete from the point of view of its contamination potential” and Dr Eng. Mirela Wolf-Baca (Faculty of Environmental Engineering) “Seasonal variability in migration of antibiotic resistance genes and bacterial structures in biofilms in the subsequent stages of drinking water treatment.”
Grant for a scientific internship was awarded to Dr Michał Jasiński (Faculty of Electrical Engineering) for realization of “Identification of microgrid operating states using cluster analysis”.
