The economic benefits of Poland’s membership in the European Union is the subject of the analysis prepared by a group of Polish scientists led by Prof. Witold M. Orłowski. The report was prepared for the Schuman Foundation and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The presentation of the report will take place on November 9, 2021 at the Kazimierz Palace of the University of Warsaw. The partners of the event are: the Representation of the European Commission in Poland, the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw and the Prof. Bronisław Geremek Center.
The authors of the analysis include: Prof. Witold M. Orłowski (coordination of scientific works), Prof. Maciej Duszczyk, Prof. Grzegorz Gorzelak, Dr Marta Götz, Prof. Elżbieta Kawecka-Wyrzykowska, Prof. Walenty Poczta and Dr Joanna Stefaniak.
The scientists will answer the questions: How much does Poland gain from membership in the European Union? Are funds the greatest economic benefit of membership? What would the condition of the Polish economy be if Poland did not become a member of the EU?
