The project “The role of economic analysis in shaping public policy – youth education on the example of the issue of transit of Ukrainian agricultural produce through Poland” received financial support from the Alior Bank Foundation in the amount of PLN 30,000. The team implementing the project consists of: Dr Adrian Sadłowski and Dr Adam Zając from Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw and Dr Magdalena Kalbarczyk from WSB Merito University in Poznań.
The cognitive objective of the project is to identify barriers to the efficient movement of agricultural products originating from Ukraine through EU solidarity corridors running through Polish territory.
Findings in this regard are to form the basis for formulating recommendations for economic policy, indicating what actions should be taken to ensure – in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war – efficient transit of Ukrainian grain and oilseeds through Poland, which in turn is the application objective of the planned research project.
