Wroclaw University of Technology begins the second series of meetings as part of the university Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar. On Tuesday, October 23, the lecture “Historical coexistence of Poles and Jews and the challenge of reconciliation” will be given by Zeev Baran – architect and honorary consul of the Republic of Poland in Jerusalem.
Zeev Baran was born in Vilnius in 1935. He survived the Holocaust thanks to the help of Helena and Bronisław Krzyżanowski. After the war he emigrated with his mother and brother to France, and in 1948 the family reached Israel. He graduated in architecture and urban planning at the Technological University in Haifa. He specializes in selective projects and in projects for developing countries and for minorities in Israel. For many years she has been involved in the promotion of Poland as well as dialogue and cooperation between our nations.
The Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar is a series of lectures for students, PhD students, academics and anyone interested in deepening knowledge of exact sciences.
