The National Science Center (NCN) has completed the UWERTURA call. About 21 researchers worked on internships in foreign scientific teams implementing grants of the European Council for Scientific Research, but only 8 were selected.

The UWERTURA program aims to support Polish researchers in successful applying for European funds and increasing their participation in the group of laureates of European Research Council (ERC) competitions. The call was to include the scientists with at least a PhD degree who were already running a research project funded by the National Science Center. The winners will take internships in foreign scientific teams implementing ERC grants, and after returning within 18 months they will prepare and submit their own grant application to this organization.
