The Silesian University of Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with BASF Polska. The partners promise to develop and develop innovative projects in the field of new technologies, educate qualified personnel for the economy, exchange experiences, and carry out joint research and development projects.
The agreement was signed by the rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk, and Katarzyna Byczkowska, managing director of BASF Polska.
“Taking into account the role that sustainable development and environmental protection play nowadays, we are interested in cooperation in the area of renewable energy, closed loop economy or bio-raw materials”, says Katarzyna Byczkowska.
BASF Poland is also interested in carrying out research and development projects in the field of sustainable development and jointly running dual degree programmes. This is another partner from industry with which the Silesian university will cooperate.
