Nearly PLN 29 million was obtained by the Silesian University of Technology for the implementation of an educational project within the first part of the Integrated Programs of the University program, organized by the National Center for Research and Development. This is the second largest funding among all Polish universities.
Under the first part, universities will receive funds intended primarily for new education programs, PhD studies, training sessions for teaching staff and improving students’ competences through high-quality internship programs and additional courses, including courses in foreign languages.
The goal of the Integrated University Programs program is to develop higher education to meet current social and economic needs of Poland. This year – under the first program part – NCBiR subsidies amount to nearly PLN 700 million. About one hundred universities in Poland received money for educational projects.
