Silesian University of Technology student becomes champion in Polish programming

Marcin Podsiadły- a student of the Automation, Electronics and Computer Science Faculty at the Silesian University of Technology won the Polish Programmers Championships at the Wrocław University of Technology. Over 90 students and students from all over the country participated in the final of the competition.

Students joined the championships in one of two age categories: master – intended for secondary school students and expert – for regular students. Marcin Podsiadły is a student of automation and robotics and he took the first place in the expert category. He won a paid internship in the automation and IT industry Procom System and 5 annual licenses for additional software for the university.

The Polish PLC Programmers’ Championship is an event bringing together students and students from all over Poland as well as potential employers from the industrial automation sector. The organizer of the competition is the Wrocław University of Technology and the “Automatyk” Students’ Scientific Association.
