Silesian University of Technology has signed an agreement on cooperation with the Kiev National University of Building and Architecture. The contract has been concluded for 5 years and assumes cooperation in the field of education, research and administration.

The document includes the exchange of academic staff and students, providing for student apprenticeships, cooperation in the field of didactics and implementation of research programs, as well as joint scientific support for PhD students.

– As a representative of the Ukraine, I am very pleased with the opportunity to establish cooperation with the Silesian University of Technology, one of the leading universities of technology in Poland. Our universities share a very similar profile of scientific and didactic activity, which will further facilitate our cooperation. I will be in favor of developing all the directions of cooperation written in the agreement – says the rector of the Kiev university, Prof. Volodymyr Tkachenko.
