From the new academic year, students at the Silesian University of Technology will be able to use the Mobile Robot Laboratory, which will be opened and equipped by the AIUT company. The project is a joint initiative of the university and the Gliwice-based company, which has been automating Polish and global industry for 30 years.

Students will have six professional teaching stations at their disposal, including, among others, a station for learning and testing propulsion techniques with software for configuring and operating control and safety systems and advanced navigation systems used in AMR and AGV vehicles.

In the laboratory, students will be able to hone their skills in designing and building autonomous mobile robots. Components and vehicles for testing will be supplied by AIUT, a manufacturer of such intralogistics solutions. The company is also responsible for preparing and equipping the new teaching space in cooperation with the Silesian University of Technology.
