Since 2017, Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce received PLN 160 million

The Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in Kielce summarized activities related to the Constitution for Science. Since 2017, as part of various programs and projects, PLN 160 million has been allocated to the university, of which PLN 72.3 million is capital expenditure.

The largest investments include the construction of the Center of Media Communication and Scientific Information as well as the expansion and equipment of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The annual subsidy transferred to the university by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education also increased by nearly PLN 12 million.

During the press conference, Prof. Jacek Semaniak, rector of the Jagiellonian University emphasized that the investments not only help the university, but also have an impact on the region’s development. The key factor will be cooperation with business and external institutions, for example with the Świętokrzyskie Center for Transfer and Technology Innovation, which is to be located in the area of the University Campus.
