Six scientists from the Nicolaus Copernicus University receive grants from the Miniatura program

Six researchers of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (UMK) become laureates of the “Miniature” program funded by the National Science Center.

Dr Agata Pacuła will implement the project “Water-soluble seleniates – a solution to the problem of low bioavailability of selenoorganic compounds”, Dr Tomasz Jasiakiewicz will conduct a research “Interpretation of wills in Polish and foreign law” and Dr Karolina Sikorska will examine “Life narratives of contemporary visual artists – preliminary research”.

Dr Tomasz Jędrzejewski will implement the project “Coriolus versicolor extract as a potential modulator of the M1 / ​​M2 macrophage phenotype – study of interactions between breast cancer cells and macrophages”, Dr Sonia Szymańska will develop the project “Searching for biologically active compounds limiting the colonization of crop plants by human pathogenic microorganisms”, and Dr Dawid Szostek, Prof. of NCU will attempt to develop a validated scale to measure counterproductive behavior at work.
