Thanks to the cooperation between the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and T-Mobile Poland, a smart research infrastructure will be set up on the grounds of the SGGW Forest Experimental Station in Rogów, allowing for remote management and detailed monitoring of crops.

SGGW and T-Mobile have signed an agreement allowing the university to gain access to solutions based on Narrowband-IoT technology, which will enable the automatic collection of a variety of data and environmental parameters relevant to both academic education and education in the application of technology in various fields.

Prof. Michał Jerzy Zasada, Rector of SGGW, who signed the agreement together with Andreas Maierhofer, President of the Management Board of T-Mobile Poland, stressed that the smart research infrastructure that will be created at the Rogów Experimental Forestry Station thanks to the cooperation with T-Mobile is a powerful tool to support scientists, bringing them closer to achieving their research goals.
