Jan Długosz University (UJD) in Częstochowa has won funding for the innovative project Solidarity with Ukraine 3.0. The money (PLN 820,000) is provided by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). This is the result of participation in the COLOURS (COLlaborative innOvative sUstainable Regional UniverSities) alliance of European universities and cooperation with universities in Ukraine.

The aims of the project include the development of Joint Study Programmes, the development of modern teaching materials and participation in intensive online courses in engineering design, computer game design, programming, microcontroller programming, use of Linux and an intensive online English course for students and teachers from partner universities.

The grant will also organise practical field activities focused on exploring the English language and understanding Polish culture to broaden students’ cultural horizons.
