Special purpose company of the Medical University of Gdańsk becomes the operator of the support system for enterprises

Centrum Innowacji Medycznych, a special purpose company owned by the Medical University of Gdańsk, has been selected as the operator of the support system for enterprises involved in research and development.

Activities under the μGrants R&D project for enterprises will be implemented by a consortium including the following companies: Gdańsk University of Technology – Excento and the University of Gdańsk – Techtransbalt and the Pomeranian Regional Chamber of Commerce. The total amount of funding is nearly PLN 18.7 million. The money will be received from the funds of the Regional Operational Program of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for 2014-2020.

As part of the project, the Medical Innovation Center will implement activities worth PLN 2.5 million. The activities of the consortium as an operator will consist in offering entrepreneurs non-returnable support in the form of grants of up to PLN 200,000 for the purchase of research and development services provided by the service provider selected by the entrepreneur.
