The Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences has begun the applying process of the crew for the Polish Polar Station Hornsund within the 43rd polar expedition to Spitsbergen.

The expedition organizers specially sought for: geophysicists, meteorologists, IT specialists, mechanics, conservators, technical workers, station administrators and cooks.

The candidates should have motorboat patents, completed medical courses (e.g. in first aid or rescue), field experience (especially winter mountain), permissions related to the operation of electrical installations and mechanical devices, welding licenses, technical skills and knowledge of foreign languages (especially English).
