Dr Francesco Cappellano from the University of Eastern Finland will be conducting research and teaching at the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza from January. The scientist has been selected as one of 44 internationally recognised researchers who will start academic internships in Poland.
For the next 2 years, Dr Francesco Cappellano will carry out the project “Energy management at the Polish-Czech Border Region: an innovation policy perspective” at the WSB Academy. His stay in Poland is possible thanks to the Stanislaw Ulam programme of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
The aim of the Stanisław Ulam programme is to increase the internationalisation of Polish universities and scientific institutions. The programme allows for the arrival in Poland of recognised and promising scientists with at least a doctoral degree, who will strengthen the scientific potential of Polish units and become involved in the scientific activities conducted there, primarily research projects and teaching.
