The Municipal Department of Municipal Waste Management in Konin has become a new partner of the State Higher Vocational School in Konin. The contract signed by the partners assumes cooperation leading to the launch of dual studies in four fields of study – mechanics and machine construction, automation and robotics, production management and engineering, and logistics.

It will allow the second year of study, students of these fields of study to have one day a week practical training in the company, and in the third year – one or two days. Work-related education will be adequately rewarded. As part of their employment, students will perform tasks in the company aimed at achieving the learning outcomes assigned to the field of study.

The Municipal Department of Municipal Waste Management plant in Konin is one of the most modern incineration plants in Poland. In 2020, it received the prestigious “EkoSymbol 2020” award for technological innovations, novelties and care for ecology. The company is planning to launch a biogas plant.
