State Higher Vocational School in Konin receives over 170,000 PLN from the EU Education Program

Over 170,000 PLN from the EU Education Program was received by the State Higher Vocational School in Konin. The purpose of the co-financing is to reduce economic and social differences and to strengthen bilateral relations in the sphere of education between Poland and the donor states.

The university in Konin has obtained money for intensive training contributing to the development of management competences of teaching staff. Lecturers will be trained in Norway.

The program will also finance staff mobility for a period from one day to six weeks for job shadowing visits, seminars, trainings, workshops and conferences to improve skills and broaden their knowledge.

The Education program was established under the intergovernmental agreement on the implementation of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021. Its value is approximately EUR 20 million. The money is allocated by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
