From October, students of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Tarnów will be able to study a new course. The Ministry of Education and Science sent to the university a positive decision to start Obstetrics.

-We analyzed the market. We took into account the fact that there is no higher school in the region that would educate midwives. In addition, we can see that the medical faculties at our school are very popular every year – says Piotr Kopa, spokesman for PWSZ in Tarnów.

30 people will be able to study Obstetrics in the new academic year. Bachelor’s studies will be conducted on a full-time basis, and internship students will be able to attend pathology departments of pregnancy, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics and delivery rooms.

The application process for obstetrics at the University of Applied Sciences in Tarnów will start on August 9 and will last until September 17.
