The State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Chełm will receive one million PLN as a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science. The funds are allocated to purchase modern equipment of the phonetic laboratory of the Department of Philology. The specialist library resources of the Department of International Relations will also be expanded. 

In addition, the support from the Ministry will be used to equip laboratories of automation and robotics, machines and electric drives, welding, plastic working, chemical analysis, car diagnostics, CNC machine tools, thermo-chemical treatment.

The subject of the contract for the project called “Initiative to support the pursuit of excellence” is supporting the Higher School in the implementation of tasks aimed at improving the quality of education in fields of study with a practical profile.

-We strive to ensure that the classes and laboratory exercises conducted at the university are adapted to the current needs of the labor market, basing on the development of technology and the need to create real working environment conditions. Hence we desire to keep up with technical progress and novelties – said the rector of the State Higher School of Applied Sciences in Chełm, Dr Eng. Arkadiusz Tofil.
