State Medical Vocational School in Opole receives million PLN

The State Medical School of Higher Vocational Education in Opole received a million PLN award for preparing students for the needs of the labor market. The award is granted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education based on the study of the graduates future careers.

– This is the third Didactic Initiative of Excellence. And our third prize. As in previous years, we will provide money for the development of didactics in individual fields – says the rector of the university, Dr Tomasz Halski.

PLN 15 million from the Didactic Initiative of Excellence will be received by 15 public vocational universities. The bonus is paid in the form of a subsidy, which provides greater flexibility in the use of money. Universities can spend funds on goals that will improve the quality of education, e.g. for the purchase of teaching aids, employing practitioners at universities, student scholarships, courses and training raising the competence of teaching staff, modernization of laboratories.
