The State Vocational Higher School (PUZ) in Ciechanów is launching a new investment-  Innovation and Technology Transfer Center.

Iwona Szwejkowska, head of the PUZ development department in Ciechanów, said, that a preliminary design concept has already been prepared, and this year a tender will be announced for the construction of the Center on the plot owned by PUZ.

The construction of the Center would be financed from several sources.

Part of the funds is allocated by the university – said Iwona Szwejkowska and added that there is a possibility to obtain funding from the Ministry of Education and Science, from the self-government of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship as well as from the European Union funds.

The center will be a place to connect the interests of entrepreneurs needing scientific support and students who will be able to participate in research on specific products and technologies.

Construction is to start next year and take about two years.
