Joanna Nowotna, a student of sinology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, took the second place in the diploma thesis competition, organized by the Polish Chinese Business Council.
The prize for the Bachelor’s thesis “Electronic payments in China: historical background, current status and development prospects” is an internship at the Polish branch of Bank of China. The laureate continues her master’s studies, at the same time realizing the post-graduate program of the School of Law and Economy of China at the University of Warsaw.
The organizer of the competition was the Polish Chinese Business Council, in cooperation with Bank of China, HSBC Bank Poland and Haitong Bank. The competition was supported by the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Poland. The goal of the competition is to create future leaders and experts in business cooperation between Poland and China.
