Eng. Patryk Antoszewski of the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań won the first prize in the Competition of the Association of Polish Landscape Architects for the best engineering and master’s thesis in landscape architecture.

The subjects of competition diploma theses have been related to research areas covering landscape issues according to the European Landscape Convention. The jury during takes into account the topic’s difficulty, the originality of the author’s creative solution and idea as well as the readability and comprehensiveness of the study.

The awarded work – “Land use design of former family garden plots in Poznań” also received the Young Talent Architecture Award 2020 nomination – one of the most prestigious awards for young architects.
