Student of the West Pomeranian University of Technology becomes a laureate of the Polish IT Society competition

Marek Kamiński, a student of the computer science department of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, took the third place in the 36th Polish National IT Society Competition for the best master’s theses in computer science. The jury appreciated the work “Development of a model and system for simulating the privileged vehicle movement”.

The first prize was won by Piotr Bielak from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology for “Incremental learning techniques for embedding of temporal graphs”, the second two awards were received by Maksymilian Mika from the University of Wrocław for “The Frobenius and factor universality problems of the free monoid on a finite set of words” and Eng. Michał Jóźwiak from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology for “Deep neural Hawkes process model for dynamic network generation and prediction”.

The competition aims to exchange and compare didactic experiences and achievements of various IT academic environments through the presentation of the best master’s theses.
