The XXIV National Conference of the Students’ Parliament of Poland took place in Krynica. One of main topic was the change that the Constitution for Science brings for students.

Piotr Müller, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education emphasized that the new legislative solutions realize two objectives. It improves the quality of education and research and it treats the university as a subject – reports the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Deputy Minister Müller presented the detailed provisions of the new law, drawing attention to the mechanisms of protection of students’ rights introduced in the Constitution for Science.

– Students and graduates decide about the reputation and prestige of the university. This is the largest part of the academic community and they will be the national elite of our country in future. That is why we want to provide them with the best possible education conditions and thus make up for the losses resulting from the massification of their studies. Therefore, we proposed solutions to change in traditional model of studies – said the deputy minister.
