Students from the Adam Mickiewicz University and the University of Economics in Poznan took the first place in Europe in the international competition Global Online Marketing Academic Challenge (GOMAC) 2018.
Mateusz Halicki, Dawid Śliwiński, Sebastian Jastrzębski and Aleksander Kempa prepared and conducted a 3-week marketing campaign integrating the Google Ads (AdWords), Facebook and LinkedIn platforms. The campaign was conducted for Ogarniamprad.pl – the first dedicated auction platform in Poland, allowing real-time bidding for purchase and sale of energy as part of group reverse auctions.
The competition is organized by the international community of Global Online Marketing Academics, associating academic teachers specializing in digital marketing. After the victory in Poznań, Poznań students are still fighting for the title of Global Winner GOMAC 2018.
