The AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) launched the “Sanepid Support Center”. Volunteers help in collecting and processing data submitted to the district sanitary and epidemiological station (Sanepid) in Krakow.
All work is carried out in the computer rooms of AGH and under the supervision of employees of the Sanepid.
Anna Żmuda-Muszyńska, the university’s spokeswoman, emphasizes, that 60 students have already applied for this work.
-Students report all the time. Thanks to their great involvement, we are able to provide help to the health department for a long time. The idea was developed by AGH at the beginning of September, but the current serious situation with the pandemic caused us to begin implementing the idea immediately, at the request of the Sanepid itself – added the AGH spokeswoman.
