Silesian University of Technology to produce more ozone generators to fight Covid-19

05.11.2020

Scientists of the Silesian University of Technology have developed ozone generators for quick and effective disinfection of rooms. The university has already donated 30 devices to medical institutions and is planning to produce more pieces.

The ozone generator made by Silesian scientists is praised by its speed of operation – generating 40 g of ozone per hour allows to shorten the device’s operating time to 15 minutes. The device is easy to use, it can work continuously for 2 hours. It has a built-in programmer that allows users to set the operating time. These parameters determine its efficiency that is several times better than many similar devices available on the market.

The demand for ozone generators is significantly greater, so the Silesian University of Technology invites companies, institutions and all economic and local government entities to cooperate. Individual financial support is also welcome as part of the action “University of Technology against epidemics”.
