Students of Bialystok University of Technology won the international competition BRICO 2019 in Estonia.

Two four-person teams from the Białystok University of Technology designed and made steel structures especially for BRICO 2019. Each of the bridges with a span of 5 meters and a maximum height of 2 meters was to transfer 1000 kg of vertical load with the least deflection of the structure. In addition, the originality and aesthetics of the models were important in the competition. This year, 9 teams from three countries: Estonia, Lithuania and Poland have applied to the competition.

The Białystok bridge named Steel Spiders took the first place.
