The Polish-US Fulbright Commission has announced the list of winners of the BioLAB 2020-21 Program. Student Magdalena Chlebicz and doctoral student Jędrzej Rum from the Lodz University of Technology will complete one-year internships in renowned research centers in the USA.

Magdalena Chlebicz is a final year student of MA studies in the field of biotechnology at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Lodz University of Technology. She will go to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Jędrzej Rum is a PhD student at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School of the Lodz University of Technology in the field of chemical sciences. His one-year internship will be held at the University of Virginia.

This year, a total of 41 students from Poland will receive the research funds in the USA under the BioLAB 2020-21 Program. The program is addressed to students of master’s and doctoral studies in biological, chemical and medical fields. During the internship, students join research teams conducting projects in such fields as neurology, crystallography, virology and molecular genetics.
