24.08.2020

Project “Antimicrobial barriers obtained by magnetron” will be implemented by scientists from the Faculty of Technology and Chemical Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin as part of the “Socially Responsible Proto_lab” project.

Thanks to the subsidy of almost 127 thousand PLN scientists of the Szczecin university will test the microbiological technology of securing common objects, such as masks, keys, pens, bank terminals against the presence of microorganisms. As part of the research, scientists will cover their surfaces with nanomaterials.

The money used for the implementation of grants under the West Pomeranian Anti-Crisis Package, part of which is the “Socially Responsible Proto_lab” project, is allocated from EU funds under the Regional Operational Program for 2014-2020.
