Students from the Academy of Land Forces (AWL) in Wrocław have become winners of a Ministry of National Defence competition for the design of an Unmanned Aerial System, Unmanned Land System or Unmanned Maritime System for applications related to national defence and security.

In the ‘Unmanned Aerial System – support’ category, the CHARON project took first place. It is a system for providing information in areas of armed conflict, natural disasters or emergency situations. It enables the emission of audio and visual messages using a coupled module of loudspeakers and LED displays.

The information module allows predefined messages to be displayed in several selected languages and audio playback of messages entered by the BSP operator. Control is possible in manual mode using the vision system and in automatic mode along a set route.
