The team of students of the Silesian University of Technology „Golden Eye” advanced to the second stage of the 19th largest business simulation in the world – Global Management Challenge 2018/2019 (GMC).

In GMC, teams of three to five people run companies competing on the virtual market. In the first stage of the simulation, 155 teams took part. They competed for five weeks for the highest investment result of their companies. 60 teams qualified for the next stage
In the advanced training program GMC uses gamification- the use of mechanisms from computer games in business. The simulation gives the opportunity to take on the role of the board of directors and conduct the company for the next quarters in the virtual market.

GMC is the only competition in Poland in which students compete with employees of companies in management. It has been organized since 1980 in the form of nationwide on-line competitions. The initiative has already gathered over half a million participants worldwide.
