Six students of the Silesian University of Technology succeeded in the finals of the 21st National Olympiad in English of Technical Universities. Wojciech Kadłubiec took the first place, and the other representatives ranked in the top ten.

During the Olympiad, participants test their general and technical knowledge of the English language, as well as knowledge of countries in the English-speaking area. The competition is aimed at full-time and part-time students of BA, MA and PhD studies of technical universities in Poland.

The final of the competition took place through the Zoom platform. The winner was Wojciech Kadłubiec, a student of electronics and telecommunications. The remaining representatives of the University of Technology (all from the faculty of automation, electronics and computer science) took the following places: Katarzyna Filus – 3rd place; Agata Wilk – 5th place; Mateusz Grzegorczyk – 6th place; Oskar Walczak – 8th place and Dominik Borys – 10th place.
