Students of the two research groups of the biotechnology and food science faculties of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences presented an interesting scientific issues during the National Biotechnology Days organized by students of the University of Wrocław, Wrocław University of Technology and the University of Life Sciences.

Wrocław biotechnologists prepared attractions for children and adults. Adults were able to see colored preparations and insects under the microscope, find out how plants grow in vitro and how blood is detected at the crime spot. Children participated in numerous experiments such as money laundering, games with non-Newtonian liquids and volcanic lava.

The novelty of the event was hare and hound game organized by three universities. The prizes were university gadgets, fragranced soaps produced by students and AgarArty – cultures of wine bacteria, enclosed in dishes.
