Students of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology win the Student Aerospace Challenge

The model of the aircraft cabin for suborbital flights developed by students of Wrocław University of Science and Technology won the international Student Aerospace Challenge. The final jury evaluated 14 academic projects from all over Europe.

Contest participants could choose from ten issues related to suborbital flights. The tasks concerned economic aspects of flight, aerodynamics and flight control, medical issues and aircraft control. Wrocław students, acting as the Innspace group, focused on problems related to the work of crew cabin and its equipment.

Student Aerospace Challenge is an annual competition for students from member countries of the European Space Agency. It is organized by the French association promoting space tourism – Astronaute Club Européen. 36 teams applied for this year’s competition. The top 14 presented their projects in the final in Paris.
