Three Wrocław universities summarized the Joint Architectural Initiative. Students of the Academy of Physical Education, Technological University and Academy of Fine Arts worked together with teachers on the elimination of architectural, communication and technical barriers in the apartments of people with disabilities.

Mixed teams completed housing adaptation projects: for a person with dementia, with multiple sclerosis, for a blind person and for a wheelchaired person. They also developed the architectural concept of a rehabilitation and education center with an independence home for patients with Prader-Willi syndrome.

The completed project shows how important is the approach to the subject from the point of view of different positions. The work of students and tutors allows to shape an appropriate approach to investors / patients placing them at the center of the project, not as recipients.
